Grand Pacific Palisades Resort & Hotel

Overlooking Carlsbad's magnificent Flower Fields, which are open and in full bloom in Spring, the Grand Pacific Palisades Resort is less than a mile from some of Southern California's most beautiful beaches. Guests can travel easily to any of San Diego's world famous attractions, golf courses, tennis facilities and shopping centers.

The resort offers luxurious rooms, an Olympic size swimming pool, on-site dining, spacious conference rooms, a fully equipped fitness center, and an activity program with events seven days a week.

Hotel Reservation Policies

For hotel rooms, check in is at 3:00pm, and check out is at 12:00pm. For suites, check in is at 5:00pm, and check out is at 10:00am. A late checkout fee of $100.00 or more will be assessed if unit is not vacated by proper checkout time.

The hotel charges a $1.00 per night city assessment fee. This fee is not included in your reservation total, and will be charged upon check-out from the hotel.

Travel Green

For 30 years, Grand Pacific Resorts has proactively contributed to building a better environment. Long before the green movement began, we understood a need to introduce sleep products that offer real benefits to protect your health, maximize recycling efforts and use energy and resources intelligently. To support our green journey, our ECOllection private label bedding features Preserve soy-based foams. We are gradually increasing the amount of soy content reducing the use of a scarce resource, petroleum. When possible or appropriate, collateral materials are printed on recycled papers and with soy-based inks. We were one of the first resorts to replace high wattage bulbs with energy efficient lighting. We were on the forefront with paperless solutions by developing online support sites for our sales associates and sending documents electronically, saving time, postage and paper. We are pursuing earth-friendly packaging alternatives instead of non biodegradable landfill plastics. We will continue to work diligently to scrap all raw materials such as foam, wood, steel and plastic. Our goal is to recycle 100% raw material scrap. The hope is for a healthier environment for friends and travelers, along with the satisfaction of supporting global preservation.

Karl Strauss Brewery & Grill One of the most popular restaurants in Carlsbad is right on the premises of Grand Pacific Palisades: Karl Strauss Brewery Restaurant. The restaurant serves great American food, and has become famous for it's Karl Strauss beers, which are brewed on-site. Palisades guests can order room service from the restaurant.

Recreational Amenities Grand Pacific Palisades offers a wide array of recreational amenities such as an Olympic-sized pool, three spas, a children's interactive water park and family pool, a fully-equipped fitness center and an activity center and game room for the kids. Grand Pacific Palisades Resort is located close to the beach and directly across the street from Legoland California. San Diego's many major attractions are within an easy drive.
